E.L.F. Haul

Later today I  will post pictures and review the products that I had time to use in these past weeks of my first ever E.L.F haul few weeks ago and this monday, I received it AGAIN, they had some delay the first time even with the fast shipping and to apologize, E.L.F send me my order AGAIN, so I got twice what I ordered but the best is that I ordered during the 50% sale. I took pictures of everything in my order.

I love E.L.F, They had great customer service (on the phone) and the lady I spoke to, her name was Kay and she was a sweetheart. She listened and took care of the problem in minutes. :-) Thanks Kay and E.L.F.

Makeup of the day (MOTD)

This is my second look. I did one when I got dressed this am to meet with a former colleague of mine but because I'm spending the evening with my angel, I re-did my makeup. At her small age (not even 11) she is too addicted to makeup and she lovessssssssss to come play in my collection. :-D

Makeup train case

I had for the past year a smallish makeup train case but for a few months it was enough. Now, I need something as big as a Zuka. But because I cannot afford 300$, I got myself a kit for tools at the tools store. I even got something to repair the holes in my walls that is PINK and turns white when ready. how amazing.

if you want me to show you pictures of my 2 cases, let me know. I have 2 bags + my 2 cases... and that's not all of my makeup. what can I say? I'm an addict.... :-D

Constructive insomnia ;-)

I've been having trouble sleeping so I decided to do a eyeshadow look that used the color of my friend's wedding. I can't wear blue because of my hazel eyes but it gives a good idea and help us (my friend and I) find THE LOOK.

No bashing please, it was 1 am....

And now, I'm going to wash my face and drink my herbal tea... Praying and relaxing.... God bless!

My attempt at a no-sewing machine makeup brushes roll

I will be trying that in a few minutes and if it works like I hope it does, I will show you the result. I have an older paint brush roller but it's full of paint and I don't think it will look professional if I use it. So, here I come sewing roll. My inspiration is this one and the credits go to this blogger.

But because I can't sew, I used my glue gun. Here's the result. It's folded with 35 brushes inside. I put the brush that don't already have a case (like the real techniques or the E.L.F

I used 2 different bed pillow covers, One that was sort of cream/light light beige and one light lilac and my ribbon was a heart one from my friend's wedding stuff I'm preparing.

Here what it looks like when it's empty.

The flowery fabric that you see is my comforter. I have been changing several times but this one I love very much.

Have you done a brush roll yourself? What it hard? What do you think of mine? A for effort? ;-)

Why I'm starting this blog and MUA wedding emergency kit

I've decided to start this blog to talk about my passion of everything beauty-related: cosmetics, fashion and most of all; being a makeup-artist.

In another post I'll tell you more about my passion, I will do products reviews on here, post picture of the looks I do, either on me or on other people and post my porte-folio.

In something like 5 weeks I will do several people's makeup at my friend wedding celebration. I have offered that as my wedding present, they were happy and I was/am also because I know how expensive it is to hire a MUA.

My friends are already married. Their wedding was held at the LDS temple in Montreal few weeks ago before it shuts down. (don't know why) Actually if I understand correctly they were not only married for life, they were sealed for eternity, in the afterlife also. They are a great couple, she married a great young man and she's an awesome young woman. I'm not mormon but I'm a christian but very open minded.

So this afternoon she camed by and we looked at my "oh shit, emergency wedding kit", which is an inspiration I found on internet. Inside of the bag there's everything to deal with any emergency on the celebration day, whether it's for her, her hubby or any wedding guests. The things I'm doing to help are usually the maid of honor's job and I felt kinda guilty because I didn't know if she had one and I did not want to step on any toes. Well she did not have one, so I offered to play the role of the maid of honor AND being the makeup artist. I was touched by her trust. I'll be taking care of several details to make sure the day is memorable and remembered forever as the best day of both of their life.

As a MUA, are you carrying an emergency wedding kit? If you want to know, here's what I put in mine.
