I've decided to start this blog to talk about my passion of everything beauty-related: cosmetics, fashion and most of all; being a makeup-artist.
In another post I'll tell you more about my passion, I will do products reviews on here, post picture of the looks I do, either on me or on other people and post my porte-folio.
In something like 5 weeks I will do several people's makeup at my friend wedding celebration. I have offered that as my wedding present, they were happy and I was/am also because I know how expensive it is to hire a MUA.
My friends are already married. Their wedding was held at the LDS temple in Montreal few weeks ago before it shuts down. (don't know why) Actually if I understand correctly they were not only married for life, they were sealed for eternity, in the afterlife also. They are a great couple, she married a great young man and she's an awesome young woman. I'm not mormon but I'm a christian but very open minded.
So this afternoon she camed by and we looked at my "oh shit, emergency wedding kit", which is an inspiration I found on internet. Inside of the bag there's everything to deal with any emergency on the celebration day, whether it's for her, her hubby or any wedding guests. The things I'm doing to help are usually the maid of honor's job and I felt kinda guilty because I didn't know if she had one and I did not want to step on any toes. Well she did not have one, so I offered to play the role of the maid of honor AND being the makeup artist. I was touched by her trust. I'll be taking care of several details to make sure the day is memorable and remembered forever as the best day of both of their life.
As a MUA, are you carrying an emergency wedding kit? If you want to know, here's what I put in mine.
